A 580 isn't a no.
It's a timeline.

Most people who get told "come back when your credit is better" never get told what to actually do. Tell me where you're starting.

Where are you starting?

Nothing gets pulled and nothing changes on your report from filling this out.

Something went wrong sending that. Please call or text me at (404) 585-1231 — I don't want to lose you over a broken form.

Goes straight to me. No spam, and I never sell or share your information.

Got it — thank you.

I'll review this and come back with a realistic plan and timeline. If it's urgent, call or text (404) 585-1231.

What this actually looks like

No promises about points, no "credit sweeps," no deleting things that are accurate. What works is unglamorous and it works: find what's wrong, dispute it properly, and fix the ratios dragging you down.

  1. Pull all three reports

Equifax, Experian, TransUnion. They rarely agree, and the differences are usually where the wins are.

  2. Dispute what's inaccurate

Duplicates, wrong balances, accounts that aren't yours, re-aged debts. This is your right under the FCRA.

  3. Fix the ratios

Utilization is often worth more points than any dispute, and it moves in 30 days. Most people are sitting on this without knowing.

  4. Build the file lenders want

Score alone doesn't get you approved. Depth, age, and payment history matter.

  5. Hand you to a lender when you're ready

Not before. A denied application sits on your file and helps nobody.

Realistic timeline: most people who stick with it are mortgage-ready in six to nine months. Anyone promising you 30 days is selling something.

Please read: I am a licensed real estate agent, not a credit repair organization, mortgage lender, or loan originator, and this is not credit repair, legal, or financial advice. Nothing here guarantees a score increase or loan approval. You have the right to dispute inaccurate information on your credit report yourself, free of charge, directly with the credit bureaus — see consumerfinance.gov.
